Can you describe your position and your job within PPI?
“Hello, my name is Audrey Negui, I have been PPI (People, Power, Inclusion) Regional Director for Western and Central Africa for 4 years. I supervise, coordinate, galvanize and develop PPI activities in the region and mostly in Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Burkina Faso offices in collaboration with the field team. In close relationship with the headquarters, based in Paris at SOS GROUP International action offices, and my team, we’re striving to implement qualitative programs and apply the vision of our organization: economic and social inclusion for all.”
According to you, what’s the positive impact of your work?
“We work hand-in-hand to build a positive world and future for local populations by improving their access to appropriate and affordable financial services and goods, and also to help them build economic activities and to strengthen vulnerable populations within value chains. Our main goal is to reach economic self-sufficiency so that everyone can live decently while supporting their own family and help develop their country in a sustainable way.”
What are your personal motives to work for PPI?
“My 15 years of working in the development aid sector have always given me a sense of fulfilment. The international economic development allows me to combine my technical skills (initially in finance and economics) and my personal and social beliefs. Fervent defender of a world where inequality can be prevented, I work with passion for everyone to live in better conditions every single day.”
